ABOUT LARRY
MSgt. Larry Aiello, USAF (Ret.) is the founder and owner of American Made Firearms Training LLC. A U.S. military veteran with more than 27 years in uniform—including 11 years in the U.S. Army as a 19D Cavalry Scout and 16 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Combat Arms Training and Maintenance instructor—Larry recently transitioned out of active service and now devotes himself full‑time to teaching.
Over the course of his career, Larry designed, managed, and evaluated small‑arms programs for thousands of service members. He earned a reputation for calm, clear instruction under pressure and is a registered NRA‑certified instructor qualified to teach pistol, shotgun, tactical rifle, and precision marksmanship. Whether you are brand‑new to firearms or seeking to refine advanced skills, his step‑by‑step approach adapts to every shooter’s pace and learning style.
Classes run year‑round at Cobra One Tactical in Great Meadows, New Jersey, using outdoor berms, and simulation tools to mirror real‑world conditions. Larry intentionally keeps class sizes small so each student receives personalized feedback on stance, grip, sight alignment, and—most importantly—decision‑making under stress.
“At AMFT our mission is simple: deliver responsible, insightful firearms training that honors the Second Amendment while emphasizing the lifelong discipline of safe gun ownership.”
Now retired from the military, Larry spends his days expanding course offerings and mentoring new instructors across the tri‑state area. When he is not on the range, he volunteers with local veteran programs and continually updates the curriculum to stay ahead of evolving safety standards.
